Special limited edition cover to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the Battle of Britain. Aldertag (Eagle Day) was the first day of the German offensive planned against the UK and code named Operation Eagle Attack where the Luftwaffe intended to wipe out the Royal Air Force in preperation for the land offensive. Each cover has been personally signed by two distinguished Battle of Britain veterans who both flew combat missions on this day, in 1940.
