Flight Lieutenant Geoffrey Wellum together with other 92 Squadron Spitfire pilots, return to their home base at RAF Biggin Hill, Kent, following another busy day’s fighting enemy aircraft over Southern England. They will be exhausted, their nerves stretched to the limit but they live to fly and fight another day.
